I've been busy behind the scenes creating getting ready for an exhibition coming soon at the new Hopton Gallery in Ashbourne. Before that I have a Spring Market at Calke Abbey where I will be showcasing a new painting of the estate as well as Mother's Day cards with badges! This year I have applied to several 'new to me' events and art trails. Look out for the in my Events page.
About me
I am a watercolour artist based in Derbyshire. I have been painting since I could hold a brush and professionally for the past 10 years. My designs are a bit quirky, colourful and often feature silhouettes of trees and British wildlife particularly deer. Working out of my log cabin 'shedquarters' in my garden I am fuelled by many cups of tea and lots of cake! My many walking adventures in the Peak District with my dog Pippin provide limitless inspiration.
Where can you find me?
I exhibit and sell my watercolour paintings at many events throughout the year where you can come and chat and purchase directly from me. I and I have a number of my paintings, prints and cards in The Cabin, Belper, Curly Magpie Wonder Shop, Swadlincote, The Artisan Cave, Leek.
