The "Brushed Light" exhibition is not open at Hopton Gallery in Ashbourne so please do come and have a look round. I am also looking forward to exhibiting and demonstrating at several art trails during May and June including the NEW ARTbourne trail taking place in Ashbourne at the end of May. About me
I am a watercolour artist based in Derbyshire. I have been painting since I could hold a brush and professionally for the past 10 years. My designs are a bit quirky, colourful and often feature silhouettes of trees and British wildlife particularly deer. Working out of my log cabin 'shedquarters' in my garden I am fuelled by many cups of tea and lots of cake! My many walking adventures in the Peak District with my dog Pippin provide limitless inspiration.

I exhibit and sell my watercolour paintings at many events throughout the year where you can come and chat and purchase directly from me. I and I have a number of my paintings, prints and cards in The Cabin, Belper, Curly Magpie Wonder Shop, Swadlincote, The Artisan Cave, Leek.
